Project:

TSpeed, a project envisaged for many years, coming to reality through my final year university (Swinburne University, Product Design Engineering) project.

The exciting SpeedBike project is an innovative and detailed product development process that involves research, design, engineering and project development with industry. As a student this project will enable me to develop career enhancing technical and manufacturing skills whilst engaging with a range of industries.

The final outcome of this project will be an attempt at the Australian and World human powered speed record, of approximately 80km/h and 130km/h respectively.

The concept of the SpeedBike has developed from my interest in design and keen involvement as a cyclist and competitor over the past nine years where I have competed in HPV events such as the RACV/Holden Energy Breakthrough and Adelaide International Pedal Prix as well competing in many local road races.
